1. That the Chrietie Machine Works hae failed to design, tur•
nl ah and in et all a deep well pump !or th• 12 inch. well of the
City ot Palo Alto, in aooo~ctanoe with 1 te contract ot April 1 flth,
1912, with the Board of Public Works of' eaid City and its pro-
posal and the plane and epecifice.tione adopted therefor and made
a part of eaid contract.
2. That the rejection made on or al:i~ut April 211th, 1913 by the
executive officer of the Board of Public Worka and approved by
add Board or the :pwnp and motor designed and ottered by thf'
Cbr1at1t1 li..achine Worke be and the name is hereby approved.
,;. That the demand made on the Christie 1\-:achine Worke for the
payment to the City ot all eume of money adYanced 01 the City,
together with all damages euetained by the City on aocou;:1t ot
the delay and failure of the said Chr1Rtie Machine Worke to de•
eign, turn1eh and inetall a pump and motor in accordanoe with
the terme of 1 ts contriact a·nd warranti•• made, 1 e b•reb)' ratified
and confirmed.
4. That it ie hereby found that eaid eum adTanced by the !oard
ot Public Works to aaid Chrietie Machin• Work• 1• t1088.70.
