OVERRULING PROTESTS ON MODIFICATION
LOMA VERDE ANNEX SEWERS

RESOLVED, by the City Council of ~he C~ty of Palo Alto,
C4l1forr:.1a., that
~HERZAS, said. City Council did on the 13th day 01' October,

fix the time and place when and where s:3.1.d Counc~l would hear any
and all persons tnterested therein; and
WHEREAS, said Gounc 11 d~.d on th~ 10th day of Novembi:-r, 1947,
adopt 1ts Resolution No. J.628 to modify sa1d proceedings, and
sa 1d Ct ty duly gave notice of' the time and plac~ of said l1earing,,
1n the t.1m':', form and. manner prov1 ded by law; and
WHEREAS, this j.s the tlme and place-fixed in said Re~olution
wh~n and where said Counc.tl will hear said protests and objections;
and
~HEREhS, wrltten and oral ~rotests and objections against the
proposed changes and modifications have been filed or preaented at
or before the time set for said h~artng by persons intere3ted or
who are owners of property which 1s subject to assessment in sa1d
proceedings; and
WHEREAS, sald c·~ty Councll has duly heard and cons:':.der€'d each
and all of sa1d .r1•otest~~ and objections and each and all persons
des1r1ng to be heard ln cormec t Lon wl th sa1.1 matter was and were
given an opportunity to and did present their said protests and
object:ons, and 9a1d matters were fully prPsented, heard and con-
sidered by said Council; and

WHEREAS, it; appears and said ~ounc1l so finds that said protests
!~O filed were not r:ned by the owners of more than one-half of the
ar-ell of the property to be assessed !'or said improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED that said pr:-tents
and objections be and they and each and all of them are hereby
overrul~d and denied.
