The Council or the City ot Palo Alto DO RESOLVE aa tollowai
Section l. That the public 1ntereet and neceaa1t7 demand
the acquiait1on, conatruct1on and completion by the c1t7 ot Palo
Alto or the following municipal 1.llprovement, to wit:
Ott-atreet motor vehicle parking places,
including propert1 neceaaary or convenient tor
1ngreae thereto or egreaa therefrom, and/or
other worka, property or structures necessary
to provide oft-street parking 1n orcier to
relieve traffic congent1on in the City or
Palo Alto.
Section 2. That the acquisition, conatruct1on and com-
pletion or aa1d municipal 1mprovementa are neceasary and conven-
ient to carry out the objects, powers and purpoaee ot aa1d c1ty.
Section 3. That the coat or the acqu1a1t1on, conatruction
and completion ot said municipal 1aprovementa ie and will be too
great to be pa1d out or the ordinary annual income and revenue or
aa1d city.
The above and torego1ng reaolut1on was duly introduced
and pa~aed by the Council ot the Clty or Palo Alto at a regular
meeting held on Monday, the 10th day or November, 1947, by the
following vote:
