provides in paragraph one thereor. that the citJ 111.7 elect to
purchase gaa andlor electric d1str1but1ng tac111t1ea ot th•
company in areas aubsequentl7 annexed to the City of Palo Alto;
HOW., THBRUORE., 'hm COUJICIL OP THE CITY OP PALO ALTO
DO RESOLVE AS l'OLLOWS:
That the Council doee elect, under paragraph one or
the above mentioned agreement, to purchase the gaa and electric
distribution tac111t1es or the Pacific Gae and Electric Company
located in the Stanford Water D1atr1ct and adjacent area recentl1
annexed to the City of Palo Alto;
AND BE I'r FUR'l'HER RBSOLVID that the Board or Public
Works be and it 1a hereb7 directed to enter into negot1at1ona tor
the purchase of said tac111t1es, the cost thereof to be determined
by the formula set forth in paragraph one of the above mentioned u·
agreement. ~
Th~ above and foregoing reoolut1on wa1 duly and regu-
larly introduced and passed by the Council ot the Cityot Palo Alto
at a regular meeting held on the 10th day of Rov••ber, 1947.
