RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL OP THK
CITY OP PALO ALTO APPROVING MEMORANDUM 01' AGRwmllJl'l'
FOR EXPENDITURE OF 1/4 CENT GAS TAX A.U.OCATED FOR STATE
HIGHWAYS
WHEREAS, the State or California, through it~ De-
partment of Public Worke, D1v1e1on of Highways, has presented
a memorandum of agreement in accordance with a project state-
ment submitted by the City for expenditure of the 1/4 cent
ga3 tax for the 1948 fiacal year allocated for State h1gh-
ways in the City of Palo .Altoj and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read isaid agree-
ment in full and 10 fam111ar w:l.th the contents thereof;
T"rlEREFORE, be it resolved by the Cit~· C·:iur.c11 or the
C1 ty of Palo Al to that aald agreement for e.xpend1.ture o1' the
1/4 cent gas tax allocated f cr State highways be and the same
1s hereby approved and the Mayor and the City Clerk are directed
to slgn the same on behalf of said City.
