WHEREAS, said Council, in response to notice duly given
pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 1516 adoptt!d June 10.
1946, and its resolution calling for bids on sale of bonda pur-
suant thereto, adopted on September 8, 1947;
WHEREAS, th1s is the time and place fixed therein for
rece111ng bids tor the purchase or said bone.ls,, and aaict b:tda have
been received and publicly opened, examined., and declared by this

NOW,, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, &l!J follows;
1. That all written bida received tor the purcha8e of

I, the undersigned, hereby <:ert1:fy that the foregoing
resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a meeting of the
City Council of the City or Palo Alto, California, held on the
13th day of October, 1947, by the following vote:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: Bentrott,
Bolander, Bowden, Cashel, F1·eedman, Gaspar,
L~Lnd~r, Merner, Mitchell, Montrou11, Morten,
