ImproveMent Procedure Code•, and d1~ therein prov1de that nerial
bo.Dde would be iasued thereunser purpuant to the provisions or
Pe.rt 4, Bond Flan C of Article IV of ~a1c5 Cede, refe!'ence to said
Re!olut1on of Intention being hereby expresely na~e ror further
particulars J
WHEREAS~ on September 25, 1947, the Super1nten:5ent or
Streets of said City of Palo Alto filed vith the Clerk or aa1d
City a complete list or all aseesement! unpaid thereunder upon
the respective assessment and diagram numbers thereon, Whereupon
said Clerk gave notice of the filing of said list a?XJ fixed 1n
said notice Monaay, the 13th day of October, 1947, at the hour
of 7:30 o•clock P. M., ae the time vh~n interel'lted persons might
appear before the City Council of said City1 at the regular meet-
ing pla.ce of sa.1<.'l Council in the City Hall in ea id C1 ty, and
5hov cause why bo~s should not be issued upon the security or the
unpaid assessments shown on said list, all or vh1~ app$ara from
affidavits on file in the office ot said Clerk;

5. That said bonds shall be issued in serles, and the
unpaid aeseaaments aa ahown on said list filed by the Superinten-
dent of Streets and determined by said City Council, together
with the interest thereon, shall remain and constitute a tru.at
fund ror the redemption and payment or said bonds and of the
lntereat which may be due thereoh, which unpaid aeeeeaments sh.all
be payable 1n annual serlee corresponding in number t.o the number
of series of bonds issued, and an even annual proportion of each
ass~ssment shall be payable in each year preceding the date of
the maturi.ty for each of the several :series of bonds 1asued,
and such proportion of each assessment coming due in any year,
together with the a.nnua.l J..ntere::t thereon, shall 1n turn be pay-
able 1n installmenta as the gen~ral taxes of said City on real
property are payable, and shall become delinquent at the same
times and in the same proportionate amount3 and bear the same pro-
portionate penalt1ee for delinquency.
~rhat the signatures 01' the Mayor and Treaaurer 'be 1m-
preesed upon said bonds by engraved or lithographed proce3s
and that said City Clerk physically sign said bonds and affix
thereto the corporate seal of said City; the intere3t coupons
affixed thereto shall be signed by said Treasurer or bear his
engraved, printed or lithographed 31gn.a.ture; and such :signing
and !!Sealing of said bonds by said officere, and signing of sa.1d
cottpons by 5aid l'reasurer, shall constitute and be :s. :suff1c1ent
and binding execution of ea.ch and every one of 3a1d bonde and
all of the coupons thereof re spec ti vely. Said, bonds ehall be
substantially in the form set forth in Bond Plan C of Article IV
of said Pa.lo Alto Improvement Procedure Co<ie; said Trea3urer
and said Mayor and aa1d Clerk are hereby authoI'ized and directed
to so sign and attest respectively.
6. That the interest coupons attached to each of sa1d
bonds and evidencing the interest to accrue thereon shall b~
