California, that I I I ' - I - WHEREAS, said City Council did on the 9th day 01' June, 1947, pass its Resolution of Intention No. 1593 to make the publ1c acquie:l.tions and improvemente therein more part1c1llarly deacr1 bed, and did ther"!1.n fix the time and. place when and where said Council would h1Jar any and all persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk anct Superintendent of Streets of said City duly gave notice of the time and place of oaid heax-1ng, 1n the time, form and manner provided by law; and WHEREAS, this is the time and place fixed ln said resolution when anti where said Council will hear said proteats and objections; and WHEREAS, written and oral proteet.s and obJectlons against the proposed acquisition iand improvements, or against the dis.trict to be anseased for the costs and expenses thereof, or to the City Engineer's estimate ot' the costs a.nd expenses thereof, or against th~ diagram or assessment, have been filed with the G!ty Clerk of se1d City at or before the time set for said hearing by persons :tntereste-d or who are ownera of property which ls subJecc to assessment in said proceedings; and WHEREAS, said City Council has duly heard and considered each and all of said p:r."otests and obJect1ons and each and all persons dea:lr.1ng to be heard in connection w1t;1 said matter was and were given an opportunity to and did present their said pro- tests and objections, and. sa1d matters were fully presented, heard and considered by said Council; and WHEREAS, it appears and said Council so finds that said protests so filed were not filed by the owners of more than one- half of the area of the property to be assessed for said improve- ment. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED that said protests and objections be 1 and they and each ano all of them are hereby, overruled and denied. * * * * I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of resolution adopted by the City Council o1' the .::1 ty of Palo Al to, California, at a regular meet1ne; thereof held on the 8th day of September, 1947, by the following vote of the members thereof: AYES, and 1n favor thereof, Councilmen: Bentrott, Blois, Bolander, Bowden, Freedman, Gaspar, Linder, Merner, Thoits, Thomas, W~ckett. NOES, Councilmen: Montrou11.
