RESOLVED, by the City Council 01"' the C1t1 ot Palo Alto, California, that
'WHEREAS, said C1t7 Council did on the 10th day or June,
1946, pa.es its Resolution of Intention Ko. 1511 to make the
public improvement therein more particularly de&cribed, and di~
therein fix the time and place Vhen an! 'Where aaid Council vould
hear •Jl'f and all persons interested therein; and
'WHEREAS, the Cit1 Clerk a~ Superintelldent or 8treete of
said City duly gave notice of the.time azXJ place of eaid hearing,
in the time, form and manner provided by lav; and
WHEREAS, th1e is the time and place t1~ed in said resolution
when and 'Where said Counc11 will hear sa1d proteets and objections; llnd
'WHER:s:AS, written a.IXI oral protests and objections against
the propoeea improvements, or against the district to be a~seesed
for the costs and expenses thereof, or to the City Eng1neer•s
estimate of the costs all(1 e~penaes thereof, or against the grades
at which sald work shall be done, or again.st the diagram or
aseessment, have been filed with the City Cle~k of said City at
or before the time set for aaia hearing by persons 1ntere5ted or
vho are owners or property Vh1eh is subject to assessment in se1d proceedings; and
'WHEREAS, said City Council has duly heard and considered
each and all or aa1d protests an1 objectioruiJ and each aIX'l all
persons ~esiri.ng to be heart'! in connection with said matter vas
aIIC! were given an opportunity to and did present their said
protests and objections, a~ said matters vere fully presented,
heard and considered by said Council; and
'WHEREAS. it appears and said Council so finds that sajd
protests eo filed were not filed by the owners of more th.an
one-half or the area of the property to be assessed for ~aid improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED that said
protests anCI objections be and they end each and all of them sre
hereby overruled and denied.
