wHE.REAS, a ~tudy 1s being made of all salaries in
the Cit~· of Palo Alto by the Personnel Board sna its assistants; Vlid
W".rlEREAS, the City Counc:11 recognizes that certain
aCljuBtments 1n salaries should be made st the present time; and
'WHEREAS, ~ue to the fact that the above mentioneO study
is not completed and the f1gu:r:·es a.re not yet available for a
definite change of any of the salaries;

That upon the completion of the study of the Personnel
Boaz-d a.nd 1 ts ass1stant3 ~ the City Council in adopting any
adjustment in salaries shall make the same effective as of December l, 1946.
