'WHEREAS, the Hospital Committee of the City of Palo Alto
haa heretofor·e hal'.J conferences a.nd negotiations with James A. ,,,
Hamll ton ancl .Associates, of New Ha·1en,, Connecticut,, in connection I
v1th the proposed additions and enlargements of the Palo Alto Hospital; and, .
'WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of employing Mr.
Hamilton and his associates as consultants in connection vith
the prelimina.17 studies of the addi t1ons am enlargements· of
said hospital; buil~ing consultation, alXI equipment consulta-
tion.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Mayor anCI City Clerk are hereby author-
ized to e"ecute a Memorandum of Agx•eement prepared by James A.
Hamilton and Associates, ~ated August 31, 1946, ancl signed by
Mr. Hamilton on behalf of himself and associates, said agreement
being in the form or a letter addressed to Mr. E. C. Tho1ts,
Chairman of the Hospital Committee of the City of Palo .Alto,
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
The above and foregoing reoclution was duly and regularly
passed by the Council of the City of Palo Alto at a regular
meeting held on the 10th day cf September, 1946, by the rollow-
