RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City ot Palo Alto, Cal1.forn1a, that
\IHEREAS, said City CoWloil did on the 10th day of June,
1946, pasa 1ts Resolution of Intention No, 1506 to make the
public improvement therein more particularly described, and did
therein fix the t1me and place when and where aaid Council ~ould
hear any and all persona interested therein; and
'WHEREAS, th~ City Clerk and Superintendent of Streets of
said City duly gave notice or the time and place of said hear1na,
1n the time, form and me.nnor provided by lav; and
WHEREAS, thie is the time ant! place fixed in said resolu-tion when and where said Council will hear said protests 8Jld objections; and
'WHEREAS, written and oral protests and objections against
the proposed improvements; or against the district to be assessed
for the costs and expenses thereof, or to the City Engineer•e
estimate of the costs and expenses thereof, or against the grades
et which said work shall be done, or against the diagram or·
assessment, have been filed with the City Clerk of said City at
or before the time set tor said hearing by persons interested or
vho are omers or pz•operty which 1s subject to assessment in said proceedings; and
'WHEREAS, said City Council has duly heard and considered
each and all of' saic:t proteista arul objections axld each and a.11
,Persons desiring to be heard in connection with sai.d matter "Was
and were given an opportunity to and did present their snid
protests and objections, and said matters were fully presented,
heard and considered by said Council; and
'WHEREAS, it s.ppeare and said Council so finds that said
protests so filed were not filed by the ovners of more than
one-half of the area of the property to be assessed for said improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED that said p~otests and objection& be al'l(l they and each a.nd all of them
are hereby ove:r•ruleo and denied.
