RESOLVJa>, by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, that 1n its opinion the public 1ntereet and con- venience require, and that it 1s the intention of sa1~ City Council to or-der th.e following work to be done and improvements to be me.de 1n said City, to-wit: 1. Notice is further given that there is on file vith the City Clerk e diagram of the assessment district sho"Wing ea.ch lot or subdivision of land to be assessed and the C!imen~ions thereof, an.d an assessment of the estimated cost of said work and improvement upon said lota and parcels according to benefits to be received from sa.id work and 1mprovf1men!.s, es.ch of which have corresponding numbers for each sueh lot or parcel. 11. That Rincon9.~a Park, the Commt.m.ity Center,, the Ch1ldrens 1 Library, the Childrens1 Museum, the Municipal Pover Plant, and other publicly owned property 1n said aseess- ment district, shall be assessed for it~ share of the cost of said benefits and the amount thereof paid in cash by the City. All public streets, alleys and ways in use in the performance of the public rwiction shall be omitted from the assessment hereinafter to be made to cover the cost or said improvement. 12. Notice is hereby given that serial bonds to rep- resent the Wlpa1d assessmer.ta and bear interest at the rate of not to exceed fou.~ per cent (4%) per annum, vill be issued pur- suant to Part 4, Bono Plan C of Article rv of the Palo Alto Improvement Procedure Code, the last installment of which shall mature nine (9) years from the secon~ day of July next succeed- ing ten months from their date. 13. The Clerk of said City shall cauoe this resolution of intention to be published tv1ce in the Palo Alto T:l.mes, n daily newspaper, published an.cl c1rculetea in the City of Palo Al to, vhich aa..i.d paper is hereby designated for th.at purpose, and vhich is hereby designated as the newspaper 1n which all further notices required to be made herein shell b·e published. 17.
