RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pelo Alto, California, that
'WHEREAS, the C1ty CoUl~Cil 1e about to undertake a special
aseessment and bond public improvement proceedings 1n order
to fine.nee the Cl'.:lst of constructin.g grading,. c~usher run be.:se
pavement and asphalt concrate wea1~1ng s1.1l'face, Portle.oo cement
concrete curbe, gutters, sidevalke and driveway aprons, generally
located in but not limited to the area of said City bounded by
Park Boulevard, Page Mill Road and Yale Street, that the public
interest and welfare -will be served by employing attorneys to
assist in the conduct of said proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Messrs. Kirkbride &
Wilson, bond attorneys, 307 B Street, San Mateo, California, be
and they are hereby appointed and employed for the purpose of
rendering the serv1cen necessary for conducting ancJ completing
said special assessment and bond public improvement proceedings
and that their duties and compeneat1on therefor be fi~ed, all
as more particularly set forth in the letter and sgreement or
said attorneys dated April 25, 1946, on file in the office of
the City Clerk of aaid City.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
vas duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City
of Palo Alto at a regular meeting thereof held on the 13th day
of May, 1946, by the following vote:
AYES, and 1n favor thereof, Councilmen: Bentrott, Blo1a,
Bolander, Bowden, Cashel, Cornish, Freedman, Linder,
Merner, Mitchell, Morten, Richards, Thoite, Thomas.
