RESOLUTION OF Tl.!F CITY COUNC n, OP 'rHE
CITY OF PALO ALTO
AOOPTING BUOOE'l' Ji'OR EXPENDIIJ.'UJm OF
FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE S1'ATE HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES
WlmREAS a master agreement has been executed by the
City of Palo Alto , hereinafter referred to as the
City 1 and the State Department or Public Works, Division of
Highways~ hereinafter referred to as the Department~ on
. March 13 , 19 61, for expenditure of State~allocated
fUnds; and ---
WHEREAS a project statement has been prepared an:i
was submitted to the Department on May 20 ~ 1965
showing the estimated expend1 tures of such funds recotnmct1d'C21'
to be made during the 19~-66 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS a budget approved by the Department on
June 8 , 19 65 has been presented to the City Council
in accordance with t'Fie"pro,ject statement submitted by the City;
and
WHEREP.S the City Coun,il has considered said budget,
as approved by the D~partment, and is familiar with the contents
thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Co'.lnc11 that said
budget be and 13 hereby adopted as the budget of expenditures
recommended to be made from such funds during the 19~-66 fiscal
year.
ADOPTED this 30th day of August I 1965 -·
