Ordinance No. 1877,, being the P -C (Planned Community) Development Plan for the; property known as 103 to and in^.luding 167 0reenmeadow Way, being a portion of Lot 3, M. S. Loucks Tract, is hereby amended to allow the location and construction of an addition of approximately 600 square feet of floor area to the rear apartment unit in the northerly apartment structure; the relocation of the trash yard area and the con- struction of 13 storage closets in the former trash yard area in accordance with the Development Plan affixed hereto, marked EXHIBIT A, and subject to the following conditions: A. The setback from the rear (Adobe Creek) property line shall be not less than six (6) feet. B. Start of construction on or before August 1, 1965. Completion of all construction and develop- ment on or before January 15, 1966. 3E0104 2. (c) Uniform Allowance: Qualified full-time personnel rewired to wear Ares., uniforms in the performance of their duties may be provided a m. thly uniforo allowance in conformance vith administrative rules and prodedurta established by the City llaaaper for the administration of the unite= ellewence program. These personnel are u follows: (1) Police personnel (2) Fire shift personnel (3) Fire personnel (non -shift) (4) Animal Shelter personnel (5) Foothills Park personnel 810.00 per month 7.50 per month 10.00 per month 10.00 par month 10.00 per month (d) Police Department Court Appearances: Additional compensation in the sum of `8.00 per day *ball bs paid each Police Officer appearing in court for the City during off -duty hours except for such positions u may be exempt by the City Manager. All witness fees received,by a Police Officer shall be turned over to the City of Palo Aldo. (e) Holidays and Overtime Compensation for overtime end holidays shell oe in conformance with City Working Rules and *emulations and Administrative Directives timed for the purpose of clarification mad inter- pretation. v Salary Resolution continued - OCTIOF( 3 MERIT ADJUSTMENT An employee may be considered for merit advancement in accordance with the time intervals established in Section 2. Advancement to the following step of a salary range may be granted for continued improvement and effi- cient service by the employee in the effective performance of his duties. Such aerit advancement shall follow the procedures outlined below. (a) The head of all departments, when making recommendation ter ad- vancement or denial of an increase, shall submit information supporting his action. In cases where the employee is moving from Step D to Step 8, be shall support his recommendations with specific reason. for the final merit increase, and all such recommendations shall be submitted to the City Manager for his approval. (b) In the evert an increase to denied, the action will be reviewed e by the department head with the employee concerned. • SECT1c* 4 SPECIAL ADJUSTMENT Each employee of the City who has bean a full time employee since January lot of the current year and has boon employed continuously shall on December 20th of each year receive, in addition to his salary as pres- cribed herein, a salary adjustment equal to one (1) percent of his current annual gross pay. SEC'TUM IfICIAL SWIM (a) The following compensation shell be paid for Police Reserve duty: (1) Police Reserves voluntarily in training - 35c per hour payable to the City of Palo Alto Police Reserve organisation. (2) Police Reservea assigned to regular police duty - pro rata of Step A of the Police Officer's salary range.
