U$OLVE as follows: SWIGS 1. For the purpose of holding and conducting a special referendum election called to be held in. the City of Palo Alto on. Tuesday, Mara* 2, 1965, the City of Palo Alto is hereby districted and subdivided into twenty (20) municipal election precincts, numbered 1 to 20, inclusive, as more parti- cularly hereinafter set forth. Said precincts shall be respectively composed of the territory included within those election precincts hereinafter specified as the same may have bean constituted and designated by the County of Santa Clara for general, state and county elections, as shown on maps on file in the Department of Registration and Elections of Santa Clara County, as of January 7, 1965. The Board of Elections for each municipal election precinct shall consist of one inspector, one judge, one clerk and one ballot clerk. Watterud 1 The polls shall be opened at said polling places at 7:00 o:clock on the morning of said day of election and shall be kept open until 7:00 o'clock p.m. of said day, when the polls shall be closed (except as provided in Bectivn 14436 of the Elections Code of the State of California), and the election officers shall thereupon proceed to canvass the ballots cast thereat. Official printed ballots shall be used for voting at said election. Said ballot shall contain a referendum proposi- tion to be presented to the people. Voters desiring to vote for the proposition shall stamp a cross in the square marked" Yes". Voters desiring to vote against the proposition shall stamp a cross opposite the square marked "no". Voters in voting, shall use only the official ballot and the official stamp furnished for said purpose by the City of Palo Alto. SECTION 2.
