The ~ouncil or the City or Palo Alt~ DO RESOLVE
as tollon:
WHEllliit.S, the princi;;>le of exe11ption from
taxation of States and State Agencies has been
universally recognized by the Federal Government
and by all individual stat·!s,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED~ that this
Council go an record as opposed to State taxat1on
o! any municipal receipts, and
B~ IT l',URTHER RESOI..'/.t:D, that a copy of this
resolution be forwarded to the Senator and
Assemblyman of this district.
The above and foregoin, resolution w&s duly
passed by the Council of the City of Palo Alto at a
reg~;tlar meeting held on tht~ lOth day of July, 1933,
