be it resolved by the Council of the City of Palo ~lto,
California
SECTION 1. Tt~t C. h. Judson, Muyor, be hnd
he is authorized to execute and fUe an application
on behalf of the City of Palo Alto to the United
States of America for b grant to aid in financing
the con~truction of Street Paving.
SECTION 2. That J. F. Byxbee,City ~ngineer,
is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such
information as the united States of Am€lr1ca through
the Federal .l!.mergency Administration of Public Works
may reasonably request in connection with the
application which is herein &1.lthoril.ed to be fil~d.
The above and foregoing resolutietn v.as duly
passed by the Council of the City <.·1' PG.lo Alto at u
special meeting held on the 3ra day of September,
