of PEJ.lo Alto to file-an application to the United
St&tes of America tl~ough tbM Federal Emerg~ncy

and designating J. F'. Byxbee, City .l:.ngineer,
to furnish such information Ct.S the Goverruaent
may reCiuest.
De it resolved by the Council of the City of P~lo Alto, L;CJJ.ifornia.
SECTION l. Th&t C. H. Jooson, Mayor, be ana 1·.~.e
is authorized to execute and file an application on
behalf of the City of Palo Alto to the United States
of America for a grant to aid in financing the
construction of Department ot' Public Works BW.ldins.
SECTION 2. That J. F. Byxbee, City Engineer,
is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such
information as the United States of America through
the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works
:nay reasonably request in connection with the
application which is herein authorized to be filed.
The above Qnd foregoing ~esolution was duly
passed by the Council of the City of Palo Alto at a
special meeting held on the 3rd d~y of Sept~mber,
1935, by the following vote:
