A resolution authori~ing the ~yor of the City
of Palo Alto to file an application to the
United States of Am~rica through the Federal
hmergency Administration of Public Works for
a grant to aid in I'1nanc1.ng the construction of
extensions and enlargement of the electric
generating plant and. fucilit.1es
and aesignatinb L. H. Anderson, Director of Utilities,
to furnish such informaaon as the Govt~rnment may request.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Palo ~lto, California
SECTION 1. That C. H. Judson, Mayor, be and he
is authorized to execut~ und file an application on
behalf of the City of Palo Alto to the United·Statts of
America for a grant to aid in financing the construction
of extensions and enlargement of the electric generating plant and facilities.
SECTION 2. That L • .tl.. Andez·son, Director of
Uti:..ities, is hereby authori:r.ed and directec to furnish
such information u.s the United Stat~s o1' America throllih
the Federal .l:.mcrgency Administration o!' Public Works
may reasonably request in connection ~ith th~ application
v.hich is herein authorized to be filed.
The above and foregoing re~olution was duly
passed by the Council of the City of Pulo Alto at a
special meeting held on the 3rd day of September, 1935, by the following vote:
