ACQUISITION .Q!:. LAND, F'OR PUfil:.IC USE:
Th~ Cotm.c11 of the C1 ty of Palo Al to DO RESOLVE
as follows: That,
WHEREAS, the Council of the City or Pa.lo Alto
has received recommendations from the City Planning
CommisRion for the acquisition of the land herein
deeori.bed for publio uee authorized by law, to-wit:
A Publio Park.
, NOW, THE:RE1'"'0RE, this Co·uncil finds and so
d.eel~z·ea and determines that the use to which the
land is to be applied 1a a public use, authorized
by law, and that the public interest and necessity
req_u1r-e a.nd demand the e.oqu.1a1 tio:n. by tee simple cf
the le.nd hereinafter described !or e. public u•&~\and
improvement for said C!ty, to-wit: a public park.
This Council further finde and determines that the
prope:r·ty herein dascri.bed ill necessary tha1•etor and
. that said public improvement is planned and located
in the manner wrdch will be roost compatible with the
greatest public good mad the least private injury.

Resolution #56g passed by this Council
on Sept. l2, 1927, is hereby repealed.
