The Council of the City of Palo Alto
do resolve as follows:
That this Council does hereby acc~pt and
ratify that certain loase made and entereqdnto
on the 15th da/of September, 1927, by and between
W. R. Bartley and Alice M. BartlEy, his w1to, ·
as leasers, to the City of Palo Alto, lessee,
i:.ogethor with option to purchase the lmds so
leased for the use of the City of Palo Alto
for pl'lrk purposes, and the Mayor s.nd the C1 ty
Clerk of ::in1d City aru r.oreby authorized to
execute sn1c.l lee.se in the ns.ine of ~he City by
thamselvos·as such officials and to affix the
corporo.t~ sea.1 thereto, and ~1fter said oxucution,
said lease shall be b1:.d1ng upon said City.
The above and foregoing resolution
was duly pa3sed by tho Council of the City of
Palo Alto at a. regular mooting held on the
12th day of September, 1927, by the following
vote:
Bertsche, Bonn, Christenson, hobnrt, lloge,
