RESOLVE as follows: IJ~hat,
WHEREAS, the Council of tho City of Palo
Alto h.au received reeommt!nde.tions from. the City
Plau.ning Cor:unis3ion for the acquioit1on of the
land here1n descr·1bed for public use authorized
by law, to-wit: A Public park.
NOW, THEREFORE, tb1e Council finds ar1d
so declarl:ls and determines that the use to 1;h1.ch
tho land 1s to be applied is a public use,
a·utho1•ized by law, and that the public interest
and nec~sa1ty r~quire and demand the acquisition
by fee s1nple of the land herQinafter described
for s public use and 1mp~ovement for said City,
to-wit; a public pa~k. This Council further
finda and determines that the property hore1n
described 1s necessary therefor and that it is
looatad in the mflllller which will be most
compatible with thts ereo.test possible good end
the lease possible injury. 'l'he land necessary
to be taken for publlc usa, is described as
