ORDERING THE WORK TO BF~ Dorm UNDER P.ESOLUTION OF
!~TENTION NO. 560:
WHEREAS, the Cow1c11 of the City cf Palo Alto
did, on the 15th day of August, pass its Resol1lt1on
of Intention No. 560 to order the hereinafter
described work to be done and improvement to be
made in said City, which resolution of intention
was duly and legally published, as x·equired by
law, ns appears from the affidavit of the Principal
Clark of th6 Daily Palo Alto Times, now on file
1n the off1.ce of the City Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, notice~• of the pe.sssge or said
Resolution of Int$nt1on l~o. 560, heeded "Notice
of I:npro\rement" were duly and legally posted
along the line of said contemplnttid wor·k and
improvement, ill the time, .f~rm and manna?:', and
number, as required, by law, after the passage
of said resolution of intention, as appears by the
affidavit cf c. L. Blaoker, who personally posted
the aame, and who, upon the completion of the
post1.ng ot said notices, forthw1 th filed said
o.ff1davit in the office of the City Clerk, making
oath that he completed the posting of said notice
on the 19th day of August, 1927; and,
WHEHEAS, it appears from the eertificate
of the City Clerk, that no pri.;tosts or objection$
have been filed against said improvement, an.d ssid
City Council having now ac.1u1red jurisdiction 1D
order the proposed improvement:

Palo Alto DO RESOLVE as follows:

spec1r1eations therefor, conspj,cuously for five
days, on the hullet1n board noo.r the chamber door
of said Cuw1cil, inviting sealed pl'oposals or bids
f'or do:tng the wo:rk order~d. The City Clerk is
A-lso direct~d to p1lbl1ah tw1ce a notice inv1 ting
such se!llled bids or prcpos..-ls and referring to
t'.ii.e apec1!'1cat :tcins posted and on file, in the
Daily Palo Alto ~imes, a daily ndwapaper published
a.nd circulated in said City, and here·!:>y designated
for that p~rpose.

certified by a. respcns1bl.e bank, fo:r• an amount
which shall not be less than J.0% of the aggregate

the time of the first po3ting and publication of
the notice of said work a.nd 1nv1t1ng sealed
proposals, on which day a.nd hour all proposals or
bids will be publicly opened by said Council.
