APPRovnm AS3ES3MENT FOR STORM WATER SEW'i'.:RS ON
WAVERIZY STREET. -·
The council of the City of Palo Alto do
resolve aa follows:
WHEREAS, a diagram and aasesament were
duly filed by J. F. Byxboe, Superintendent of
Streets of the City of Palo Alto, to pay the costs
and expenses or the construction of storm watar
sewers in and along Wa.verle:r Street .from the
Embarcadero Rond sewor line to a point on the
northwesterly line of Channing Avenue, as described
in Resolution of Intention #523, paased by the
Council on tho 14th day of May, 1927, to which
resolution reference is hereby made for further
particulars; and
WHEREAS, this Council finds that due
notice of the filing of said assessment and the
time of hearing thereon wao published in the
Daily Palo Al to Times, for the time and in the
form and manner as providod by law, and tlu~t notice
was duly posted, as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, no protests against said assess-
menta so filed have been made:
NOW, THEfil~PORE, .it is hereby Ordered
that said diagram and assessment as made by the
Street Superintendent of the City of Palo Alto
be and the same ax·e hereby confirmed, and each of
the said assessments 1s hereby confirmed, and
said assessment roll shall be the roll upon which
each and all aasessmenta shall be paid; and the
Stre&t Super1ntendont is hereby authorized to
attach his warrant to said assessments, empowering
the contractor, h1s agents or assigns to demand and
rece1 ve the several assessmen.ts upon said assessment
and diagram.
The above and foregoing resolution was
duly passed by the Council of the 1.11ty of Palo
Alto at a meeting held on the 8th day of August,
'1927, by the following vote:
