RESOLUT!Oll IN REGARD TO TID:.ASURER'S BOND
Tho Council ot the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE
e.s tollowa:
THATj WHEREAS, the National Surety Company
have tu.rniahed the City or Pal~ Alto with 1t8 Bond
#Ir793786 for B. F. Congdon, City Treasurer or the
City of Palo Alto, to become effective July lat,
1927, a.mount of indemnity of said bond being t100,ooo;
HOW, THEREFORE, this Council hereby
authorizes the City Clerk to execute a release
ot the former bond of the City Treasurer for
$70,000 indemnity, said ~elease to apply obly to
· all act• and things occurring atter the date or
effectiveness of the new bond, to-w1tt July 1st,
1927, this ae.id new bond being gi von for the
purpose or taking the place ot the former bond.
'!he above and foregoing resolution waa duly
passed by the Council of the City of Palo Alto
on this 29th day of June, 1927, by the following
