RZSOLU'l'ION OF INT3NTION
The Council of the City of Palo Al to DO P.ESOLVE
a.:s follows:
That it is the intention o.f the Council to
order the .following work tc1 be done a.nd improvement
to be made in said City, to-wit:
Th5 construction of an 18" storm watar sower
in and Blor1g W .o.verley Straet from the Em'bnrc a.dero Road
sower line to a point on the northwesterly line of
Melville Avenue as !lhown on the plans heralnafter
n;1:in t:loned.
'nle construction of a 15" storm water sewor
in and. along Waverley Str<,et f1•om a poirJ.t on the
north.westorly line of Melville Avenue to a point on
the northwos terly l:tne of Lincoln Avenue as shown on
the plans hereinafter mentiohed.
The construction of a 121' sto:rm water sew.::ir
in and along Waverley Street from a po:int on the north-
westerly line of Lincoln Avenue to a point on the
northwaste:rly line of Channing Avenue as shown on the
plans hereinafter mentioned.
'l'he above storm watar sewers with manholes
and in.lets are to be constructed of.' the sizes and i'o:r
tho <Usta.ncljs and at ·t.he places shown on the plans
therofor adopted herewith entitled 0 Dia.t,rnm of an

showing the exterior boundaries of the district to be
benefitted, the property within which is to be assessed
to pay tho cost of the several .improvements.

area of all public straets, avenues, alleys, highways,
courts and places ther81n contained.
All of said work on SA.id streets nnd avenuen

on file in the off1c6 of the Cit.y Cler·k for the

by the Council on the 14th dHy of Ma1•nh, 1927, Md

particular description of said work.
All of the herein pr<>posed work shall be
done in pura.u.ance of an act of the Legislature of
the State of Cal:i.i'o:rnia., design!lted, ''Improvermmt
. •>ct of 1911", o.pp:roved April 7, 1911 and amendments

?f01'ICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 11th day
of April, 1927, at 8: 00 o 'cloc!~ P .M. at the regular
meeting place of said Council, to wit: The City Hall
of the City of Pe.lo Alto, any and all persona having
any objections to the proposed work or improvement
may appear be.fore t~ Council of said City and shc-w
cause why such improvem~int shmlld not be carried
out ln accordnncr.;) w1 th this resoluti.on.
The Clerk of the City of Palo Alto sha.ll cause
this resolution to be pi1b11shed twice in the Daily
Pa.lo Alt.o Times, a. daily now spa.per printed, published
a.nd circulated in sa.id City of Palo Alto, nnd hereby
d·~signa.ted for t!;at purpose by said Council.
The S~perintondent of Streets of suid City
of Palo A~to shall ca.use to be conspicuously posted
a.long the J.ine of said contemplated worJ{ and lm-
p:rovum""nt, and along the line of' all the open str•.;ets
and alleys within said district mentioned, notices
of the pa::i3age of this i·esolution of 1ntentiont in
the time, rn~nner, and .for::r, requira'i by the Improvement
Aot o1' 1911, and. all of said work is to be done
under the provisions of said act.
I hereby certify that the above Resolution
of .J.ntention was duly and regu.lD.rly pas:rnd by the
Co·u.ncil of the C 1 ty o:f Pa.lo Al to, at a meeting tl'Lereof
