RESOLUTION NO. 5855
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OP PALO ALTO
CONCURRING IN AN AMENDMENT TO THE SOLID WASTE
MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR SANTA CLARA COUNTY POR ~'HE
PROPOSED HELLYER CANYON LANDFILL
WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Management Plan for Santa Clara
County has been previously submitted to and approved by the
City Council1 and
WHEREAS, the City C'"°uncil of the City of Palo Al to has
reviewed a proposed amendment to the Plan entitled "Hellyer
Canyon Landfill, Potential Site,w and
WHEREAS• the City Council concurs with the need for the
amendment;
NOW, TBEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto
doe~ RESOLVE as follo~s:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Palo Alto
hereby approves th~ aforementioned amendment; and
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is directed t.o forward a cer-
tified copy of this Resolution to the Santa Clara County
Board of Supervisors.
