RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL Of THE CITY CF PALO AL TO
ORDEKING THE VACATION OF A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
lZZl PARKINSON. PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS. it 1s the intention of the Council of the City of ?alo Alto to
vacate a public uti11ty easenent in the City of Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara,
State of ca1ifornia as described in Exhibit "A• attached hereto and as shown on a
map marked Exhibit ~0° attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS. said easement was obtained but never util..:ized by the City and 1s
not requi~ed by City use; and
WfJ£R£AS~ on October zo. 1980, t~e Council of the City of Palo Alto passed a
r-esolution setting forth the time and place for a public hearing for all pe:--sons
interested in the proposed vacat1~n; and
WHEREAS, fl"ORI all the evidence submitted to the Council of the City of Pale
Al to at said hear1n~ it is found that said easements as described herein are
unnecessary for present of prospective public utility pu~poses.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION t. The Council of the City of Palo Alto does hereby order that said
easement as described herein be and hereby is vac~te<:I.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby determines that this is not a project as
defined in Section 11.04.130 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code and, therefore, no
environmental impact ~ssessment is necessary.
SECTION 3. -The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of its resolution to
be re~ol"ded in the office of the County Recorder of Santa Clara County.
