RESOLUTlOH Of THE COUNCIL Of THE CITY Of PALO ALTO
DECLARING ITS INTENT TO VACATE A SURPLUS PUBLIC
UTILITY fASEMENT AT 1221 PARKINSONt PALO ALTOt
AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING THEREFOR
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Council of Palo Alto to VijCate
a public utility easement in the City of Palo Alto, County of Santa
Clara, Stats of California as described in Exhibit 11A11 attached hereLo
and shown on a map marked Exhibit "811 attdched hereto and by reference
made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, said easement was obtained but never ut i 1 i zed by the City
and is not required for City use.
NOW,THEREFORE, the Council of the City cf Palo Alto does RESOLVE
as follows:
SECTION l. The Council of the City of Palo Alto does hereby
declare lts intention to vacate a public utility easement in the City
of Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara, State of California, as described
in Exhibit 11 A11 attached hereto and as shown on a map marked Exhibit 11 611
attached hereto and placed on file in the office of the City Clerk.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby orders that a public heorir~ take
place on November 3, 1980 in the Council Chambers, 250 Hamilton A~enue,
Palo Alto, California for all persons interested in the proposed
vacation.
SECTION 3. The Council hereby declared that this is not a project
as defined in Section 11.04.130 of the Palu Alto Municipal Code, and,
therefore, no environmental impact assessment is necessary.
