RESOLUTION NO. 5838
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
APPROVING THE CITY MANAGER'S APPOINTMENT OF AN
ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, Section 2.08,020 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code re-
quires that this Council approve the City Manager's appointments to
certain designated positions, including Assistant City Manager; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has appointed June Fleming as Assis-
tant City Manager;
NOW, THEREFOREt the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RE-
SOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council, pursuant to its a 11thority set
forth in Sect~on 2.08.020 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code, approves
the City Manager's appointment of June Fleming as Assistant City
Manager.
SECTION 2. The Counci of the City of Palo Alto finds that this
ia not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act and,
therefore, no environmental impact assessment is necessary.

That certain 5 feet wide Public Utility easement
lying adjacent to and northwesterly of the south-
easterly line of Lot 11, Block 5, as said Lot,
Block, and Public Utilities easement are shown
on that certain map entitled "Tract No. 1256 -
Channing Park Unit No.3" recorded on November 12,
1954 in Book 53 of maps at page 29, Santa Clara County Records.
