RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY a= PALO ALTO
RECOGNIZING THE ATHLETIC ACHIEVEMENTS CF CHRISTOPHER ALLSOPP
Of PALO ALTO ANO CONGRATULATING HIM ON BECOMIMi A 1980 OLYMPIAN
WHEREAS,
WHE~EAS,
WHEREAS,
Christopher Allsopp, as an 1.#ldergraduate at the
University of Washington, was selected a member of three
U.S. rowing teams; and
Chr;stopher Allsopp and tean finished first in the
recently completed 1980 trials and was named to the 1980
Olympic rowing team; and
Christopher Allsopp has recently been named Crew Coach
at Wayne State University.
NCM, THEREFORE, The Council of the City of Palo Alto does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1: That the Council recognizes the tremendous
achievements and sacrifice by Christopher Allsopp to
~ecome a 1980 Olympian.
5ECTION 2: That this Council, on behalf of the people
of Palo Alto, expresses its heartfelt congratulations to
Christopher A11sopp and wishes him success in his new
position as Crew Cuac:1 for Wayne State University rowing
team.
