Re: CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE APPLIED
TO HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMI~TEE
Dear Members of the Council:
I have drafted necessary amendments to the resolutions implementing
the City of Palo Alto Conflict of Interest Code for Designated
Positions. In accordance with previously implementen City Council
policy, the Historic Resources Committee as an appointed board, is
subject to the reporting requirements of our designated code. The
reporting requirements for the Historic Resources Committee will be
very limited and disclosure will be required of interests in real
property excePding $1,000 located within the City of Palo Alto and
subject to the control of the Historic Resources Committee, i.e.
historic buildings or buildings within historic districts.
It is recommended that the Council adopt the attached Resolution.
