RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO ORDERING THE VACATION OF A ~UBLIC UTILITY E~SEMENT (OLD ADOBE ROAD) WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Council of the City of Palo Alto to vacate a public utility easement in the City of Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara, State of California as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and as shown on a map marked Exhibit "B" attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, said easement was obtained but never utilized by the City and is not required by City use; and, WHEREAS, on January 21, 1980, the Council of the City OL Palo Alto passed a resolution setting forth the time and place for a pubEc hearing for all persons interested in the proposed vacation; and WHEREAS, from all the evidence submitted to the Council of the City of Palo Alto at said hearing it ie found that said easements as described herein are unnecessary for present or prospective public utility purposese NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: SECTION 1. The Council of the City of Palo Alto does hereby order that said easement as described herein be and hereby is vacated. SECTION 2. The Council hereby determines that this is not a project as defined in Section 11.04.130 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code and, therefore, no environmental ~pact assessment is necessary. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall cause a certifjad copy of its resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Santa Clara County.
