RESOLUTION NO. 5764 ------
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
OF INTENT TO VACATE SURPLUS PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
AT THE TERMINUS OF OLD ADOBE ROAD
WHEPEAS, it is the intention of the Council of the City of Palo
Alto to vacate a public utility easement in the City of Palo
Alto, County of Santa Clara, State of California as described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and shown on a map marked Exhibit "B"
attached hereto and by reference made a part herc0f; and
WHEREAS, said easement was obtainea but never utilized by the
City and is not required for City use.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE
as follows:
SECTION 1. The Council of the City of Palo Alto does hereby declare
its intention to vacate a public utility easement in the City of Palo Alto,
County of Sarita Clara, State of California, as Ciescribed in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and as sh:>wn on a map marked Exhibit "B" attached hereto
and placed on file in the office of the City Clerk.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby orders that a public hearing take
place on April 7, 1980, in the Council Chambers, 250 Hamilton Avenue,
Palo Alto, California for all persons interested in the proposed vacation.
SECTION 3. The Council hereby declares that this is not a project
as defined in Section 11.04.130 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code, and,
th~refore, no environmental impact assessment is necessary.
