The Council of the City ot Palo Alto DO
RESOLVE as follows: .
That the Mayor and City Clerk or the City
or Palo Alto are hereby autho~ized and empowered to
negotiate a loan or loans as required from time to
time for the City ot Palo Alto, not to exceed the
aum ot $30,000.00 tor the purpose ot oarr71ni on
the bu31ness ot said City until such time as taxes
are collected ror said purposeJ and said officials
are hereby authorized to execute a promissory note
or notes in the name or the City ot Palo Alt~ by
themselves as said officials, and to deliver the
same as evidence of the promise to pay said loan.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly
passed by the Council of the City of Palo Alto on
the 11th day of July, 1932, by the :f"ollowing vote:
