RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF Th"E CITY OF PALO ALTO
ON ~ERXINATION OF LEASE OF TRE FEDERAL TEL!i~R.APH COMPANY DATED MARCH 82, 1926
The Council of the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE a.s follows:
Th.<4t upon the surrender of pos!lession by the
Federal Telegraph Compav~ of that certain lease dated
March 2~, 1926, mRdc by and between the City of Palo
Alto and the said .!:•'.::d~ral Tt.:'lcr:raph Company, togeth0r
w:t th the promises leased <\nd all lmprovcmcnts tnereor1,
the City of Palo Alto will :relca!:e the said Federal
Telegraph Comp.:1.ny .from all obliga t !ens under said
lease a.nct all lc!ascs entered. into by said company with
th•J City of P:.:1.l0 .Alto;
That upor. said su.rrende:r the City of Palo Alto
w!ll rebate to .the Federal Telegraph Company $387.81
of th~ rentals paid by said compa:ny to tho City for
the yet~r commencing March 22, 1932 e.nd ending
March 21, 19-13 and will rebalte to the company pro r:tta
all texas paid by said company f9r th~· ftscal year
of 1931-321 and upon the consummation of this resolution
nll existing rights between suid Fedflral Telegraph
Company and the City of Pulo Alto are hereby dr.:clared
terminated without further respo:n.zHil.ity of the parties
to said lease, one to the other ..
The above ::tnd foregoing resolution w:ts duly
passed on the 25th d:J.y of May, lB32 1 at ~:~.n adjourned
meeting of the Council, by the following vote:
