WliEREAS, the St.a te o.r California, throU&h its
Department of Public Wo•rks, Dlvisj,on o:f' liighw.ays, has
presented .!l memorandum of agr~emtmt in accordance with
a proJect statement subn:.itted by t.he City :for expendi-
ture of the l/4 cent gas ·tax for the 1937-1939 biennium
allocated for Stute highw.ays in the City ot Palo Alto, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said
agreement in full and is .fumi.J.iar with the contents thereof;
.NOW, THEREl''ORE, be it rasolved by tlls City Council
of the City of Palo Al t1) t.h.a t said agreement for
expenditure or the 1/4 cent g&s t&x alloclited for State
