RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF' CONTRACT
~bereaa, the City Council of the City of Palo Altc

open, examin~ and decls~e all sealed proposals or bids ~or
the work to bo done and improvemente to be made, as described
and specified 1n the Re8olution of Intention of the city
council of said c!.ty, adopted June 141 19371 to which reBo-
htt1on of intention reference ie ~ereby made for a de.seriptim
of said work and 1mprovementa and/or the materials, supplies
or equipment to be furn1$hed therefor, also for the aseeesme~
district provided for therein,
Alto: RESOLVED, by ther City Council of the City of Palo
1. That aai.d City Council hereby rejects all of
said proposals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned,
and hereby swards the contract for doin1 said work and making
se.id improve~enta to the lowest r"aponsible bidder, to-wit:
PA!.D AL'rO ROAD MATEhiALS COMPANY
at the pr1oea named ~.n 1t.!5 bid;
2. That the Superintendent of Streets of sn1d city
is hereby authorized to make ar1d ~nter into a wr1 tten contract
with said ~uccessful bidder, and to receive and approve all
bonds in connection thel•ew1 th;
~. That the City Clerk of said City is hereby
directed to publish notice of said award twice in the Palo
Alto Timea, a del~y ~ewspaper publisLed and circulated in
said city and hereby designated as the newspaper for that purpose.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
