RESOLU'l'ION ABOLISHING THE OFF'ICE OF SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE
OF THE MAYOR
Whereaa, on the 12th day of March, 1934, the
Council paesed Resolution No. 1072 dee1gnat1.ng the Mayor ae
Gole auth0rity empowered.to nogotlate w1th o.ny C:ounty. State,
or Fe~eral agency on matters having to do with the Federal
Emergency Relief Program or w:th the Count7 Relief Adminis-
tration and alao fl.uthorizing the Mayor to 8mploy a full time
Btlecial representative at 8. salary of One .Hundred Fifty Dollara
(1150-00) pe~ month to conduct these negotiations under h1a direction; and
. Whereae, there is no longer any necessity for the ~yor·to have a special representative to perform tho dut1ee
above outlined;
Now, Therefore, the Council of the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE that Resolution No. 1072 be and the same is hereby repealed.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly pase~d by the Cm1ncil of the ~ity or Palo Alto at a
meeting held on Thursday, the first day of July, 1937, by the following vote:
