The Couneil. of the CitJ of Pe.lo .Alt,o DO RISOLVX as fellows: That it is the intention of the Council to order the following pathway to be clo1ed, ·to-wit: That certain ten-root pathway lying )etween Lots 6 and 7, Block 75; Lots l a."l~ 12, Blo•k 76; tots 6 and 7~ Blook 78; and Lots 1 and 12 Block 77, ot Seale Subdivision No. 8, in the C!ty of Palo Alto. The Council hereby declares that said closing up if for the public interest and oon"fenience ot the city .. The Street Superintendent sht.ll post notice of public work in the manner and for.m as providcrtd by the street opening act hereinafter referred to and sbal.l e.lso pu'blieh a notice . of said public work for a period of ten days in the Palo Alto Times, a daily newspaper published and ciroule.ted in tte C1. ty of Palo AJ.l;o and which the Council hereby designates as the official newspaper in whioh the Street SUperintendent's notice of the pl1ssage ot this resolution shell be published. Any persona interested objecting to said c~sing up may make written objections to the s~e within ten taya attar the expiration of the time or publicetion ot the Street Superintendent's notice1 Whiuh objections shall be 4eli?ered to the City Clerk. The City Clerk stall thereupon notify the persons making such objections ot the time '!'or hearing eai4 obje,,:,tions before the said Cit)" Council. All or the herein proposed work shall be done in pursuance of an act or tbe l.f>gill&ture of the State ot Cali- fornia, entitled "An Act to Provide :tor the Laying Out, Opening, Extending, Widening, Str&ilhtening or Closing up, in Whole or in Part, ot an1 Street, S.Uare, Lane, Alleyl Court or place within e. ~nicipali ty, and to Condemn and aoqu:.re any and all Lands end Property Necessary or ConTenient tor that P-u.rpo se", approved March G, 1889, aa said aot is amended to date.
