The Council or the City ot Palo Alto DO RBSOLVB as follows:
It 1a proposed that the following construction and
1natallat1on or improvements bo made in the City or Palo Alto, ~o-wltt
(a) Concrete curbs, pavement and sidewalks· to be
constructed on the southerly aide or Forest Avenue tor
a distance ot 329.39 teet east ot Lincoln Avenue.
(b) Concrete cUI·ba, gutters, e1d.ewalks and asphal-
tic concrete pavement to be conat~lcted, and water, gaa
and a ani tary aewer mains end connections, and an elec-·
trolier system to be installed on Pitman Avenue between
Lincoln Avenue and Center Street, Martin .A,.enue between
Lincoln Avenue L~d Center Street, and ·C•nter Street be-
tween Forest Avenue and Channing Avenue.
(e) Concrete storm sewer main and appurtenances
to be installed on Center Street b~tween Forest Avenue
and Channing Avenue.
(d) Concrete aide•alks to be constructed on Lincoln
~venue between Forest Avenue and Channing Avenue •
That said work 1& to be performed according to plana
and speei~ications prepared by th~ City Engineer or the City
ot Palo Alto entitled, •tmprovement Plana No. 53•.
That a d.escr1pt1cn of the lands comprising the dis-
trict specially assessed to pay the coat or a-'.d 1~prov~ents
is attached hereto, marked •Exhibit A• and horeb~ made a part .. ot th1a resolution.
That a map or the lands comprising said district 1s
on file with the City Clerk under the title ot •Map Showing

That no part or percentage ot the.cost of suCh im-
provements shall be paid from any source other than special
assessments upon the benefited property. ·
That it 1a proposed to conduct the improvement pro-
ceedings under the proviflions or the •Improvement Act or 1911•, as amended to date.
That the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare
a wr1 tten report upon the proposed improvement, which report
shall be submitted to thia Council and shall contain the
intormat1on required b7 Section z or the •special Asaeasment
Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act ot 1931•, as amended to date.
