RESOLUTION NO. 52 70
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE COMPENSATION PLAN.FOR COUNCIL-APPOINTED
OFFICERS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 12 of Article III of the
Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the City Council of the City
of Palo Alto did on July 19, 1976, adopt Resolution No. 5232
adopting a compensation plan for management personnel and
council-appointed officers;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The Compensation Plan, as set forth in EXHIBIT A
to ResoTution No. 5232, is amended as to Council-appointed officers
as follows:

' 002 City Manager $3500
003 City Attorney $2830
004 Citv Controller $2350
005 City Clerk $1800
SECTION 2. Said salaries set forth in Section l shall be
effective June 22, 1976, and shall continue in effect until amended
or revoked by the Council. In all other __ respects Resolution No.
5232 shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. The Council of the City of Palo Alto hereby
finds that the enactment of this resolution is not a •project"
within the meaning of that term as defined in Section 11.04.130
of the Palo Alto Municipal Code and~ -therefore, no environmental
assessment is necessary.
