RESOLUTION NO. 5231
RESOLUTION OF THE COUMCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1889 TO MODIFY THE DEVELOPMENT
PLAN FOR THE P-C DISTRICT KNOWN AS 2800 WEST BAYSHORE
ROAD, SUBJECT TO CO?IDITIONS
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION l~ Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1889, adopted September
28, 1959, and subsequently amended by Resolution 5073 on March 31,
1975, hereby is amended to modify the Development Plan for the P..C
District at 2800 West Bayshore Road in accordance with EXHIBIT A
entitled, "Addition for Equipment Guide-book Company 2800 W. Bayshore
Rd. Palo Alto, Ca." attached hereto and incorporated herein, subj~ct
to the following conditions:

The chain link fence along We~t Bayshore
Road shall be removed, or the applicant
would be permitted a chain-link fence not
closer to West Bayshore Road than the front
facade of the building, and the landscaping
between the fence and West Bayshore Road be
integrated along the entire frontage property
line.
Landscaping in the area in the north corner
of the property shall be modified to match
the type of landscaping in Greer Park at the
time Greer Park is improved.
All construction and improvements shall be
substantially as shown on the approved develop-
ment plan.
Landscaping shall be installed and upfaded as
approved prior to use and occupancy o the
building addition and shall be maintained and
replaced as necessary.
Compliance with the requirements of the City
Engineer, the Division of Light and lbwer, and
the Chief of the Palo Alto Fire Department.
SECTION 2. Section 3 of said Ordinance No. 1889, subsequently
amended by lesolution 5163 passed November 17, l975, hereby is
amended to require start of construction within nine (9) months
of City Council approval and completion of construction and
development within one (1) year of start of construction.
SECTION 3. All other provisions of Ordinance No. 1889
shall remain tn full force and effect as originally adopted.

SECTION 4. The Council finds that the proposed project
will not have a significant impact upon the environment.
