HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 5225' • RESOLUTION NO. 5225 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT 3239 EL CAMINO REAL WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto did on the 24th day of May, 1976, pass its resolution of int•ntion to vacate a public utility easement, as described in EXHIBIT A and as set forth on a map entitled EXHIBIT B attached hereto and on file with the original of said Resolution of Intention No. 5212 in the Office of the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution a public hearing was duly noticed and held on June 14, 1976; and WHEREAS, from all the evidence submitted the City Council of the City of Palo Alto finds that said easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public utility uses; NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: SECTION 1. The easement described and shown in EXHIBITS A and B attached hereto is hereby ordered vacated. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall cause a certi~ied copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Santa Clara County. SECTION 3. The council hereby finds that this is not a project as defined in Section 11.04.130 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code and, therefore, no environmental impact assessment is necessary.
