RESOLUTION NO. 5206
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CI'l'Y OP PALO ALTO
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2880 FOR.PROPERTY J<NOWN AS
706 COWPER STREET ~~ EXTEND THE DEVELOPMENT SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, on October 14, 1975, the Council passed Ordinance
No. 2880 changing the zoninq classification of certain property
known as 706 Cowper Street to P-c (Planned Community), subject
to conditions; and
WHEREAS, the developer desires to change the development
schedule to accommodate financing difficulties. The change to
the developme.~t schedule is necessary for the public interest,
safety, conve~ience and general welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 2(e) of Ordinance No. 2880 is
amended to read as followa:
"Development schedule
Start of renovation and reconstruction by November 14, 1976.
Completion of all construction and improvements within
one (l) year of start of renovation and co~struction.-
SECTION 2. All other provisions o! Ordinance No. 2880,
excdpt Section 2{e), shall remain in full force and effect as
originally adopted.
SECTION J. The Council hereby finds that the project
qualilies for a categorical exemption from the requirements of
an environmental assessment.
