RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PA!D ALTO
AMENDIHG ORDINANCE 2857 FOR PROPERTY Ia~Owt~ AS
2450 EAST BAYSMORE ROAD TO EXTEHD THE DEVELOPMENT
SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, on June 2, 1975, the Council passed Ordinance·
2857 changing~the zoning classification of certain property
known as 2450 East Bayshore Road to P-C (Planned Community),
subject to conditions; and ·
WHEREAS, the developer desires to change the development
schedule to accommodate financing difficulties. The change
to the Development Schedule is necessary for the public
interest, safety, convenience and general welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto
does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2857 is
amended to read as follows:
"The development schedule for the subject property
shall be as follows:
A Start of construction by January 3, 1977.
B Co1qpletion of all construction and development
within_ one (1) year of start of construction."
SECTION 2. All o~her provisions of Ordinance No. 2857,
except Section J •• shall remain in full force and effect as
originally adopted.
SECTION 3. The Council hereby finds that the project
qualilles lor a categorical exempt.ion from the requirements
of an environmental assessment.
