RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SCHEDULES E-1, E-2, and E-4 OF THE CITY OF
PALO ALTO UTILITIES RATES AND CHARGES PERTAINING TO
DCMESTIC, COMMERCIAL, AND STREET AND HIGHWAY LIGHTING
RATES

The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 12.20.010 of the Palo Alto Municipal
Code. Schedules E-1 (Domestic Electric Service), E-2 (Comnercial
Electric Service), and E-4 (Street and Highway Lighting) of the Palo
Alto Uti:ities Rates and Charges hereby are amended to read as shown on
Sheets lOlj, 102j, 103j, 104f, 107d, 107.le, 107.2d, 107.3c, and 107.4a
respectively, attached hereto and incorporat~d herein.
SECTION 2~ The Council finds that the revenue derived from the
author{zed ad!ustment of said electric rates by the City Manager is
used only for the purposes set forth in the Palo Alto City Charter,
Article VII, Section 2. entitled "Public Utilities Revenue." Therefore,
the adoption of this Resolµtion is specifically exempted under Public
~esources Code Section 21080(b)(8) from the requirement~ of CEQA.
SECTION 3. The foregoing changes shall become effective November
1, 1979.
