RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF ffi CITY OF PALO ALTO
ADOPTING SALAR.IES FOR COUNCIL APPOINTED OITICD.S
WHEREAS, the City Council have met and discussed the salari~s
of Council appointed officers (City Clerk, City Controller, and
City Attorney) for the fiscal year July 1979 through June 30, 1980;
and
WHEREAS. such Council appointed officers are properly con-
~idered as part of management for purposes for the Presidential
guidelines;
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as iollows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the Charter authority of the City of
Palo Xtto, the base salaries of the following Council appointed
officers ahall be increased by a percentage of seven percent and
shall be:
Effective the pay period including July l, 1979. the following
monthly salary adjustments shall be made:
City Clerk
City Controller
"City Attorney

SECTION 2. Said salaries shall be a part of the Management
Coapenaatlon l'lan which shall b~ continued in all other respects.
SECTION l~ The City Controller hereby is authorized to imple-
ment the salaries set forth in Section 1 above in his preparation
of forthcoming payrolls and to make adjuatmenta as required.
SECTION 4, The Council finds that this ia not a project under
tl:w e&'1Ifornla Environmental Quality Act and, therefore, no environ-
mental impact assessment ia necessary.
